Project description
Dr. Harikesh Dubey is a postdoctoral research associate at the Institute for Quantitative Health Science & Engineering, Michigan State University working with Dr. Rebecca Knickmeyer.
His current research focused to study the effect of gut microbiomes (collected from human infants) on brain structure and functions in various mouse models of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Dr. Dubey is also interested in understanding how gut microbiome contribute to co-occurring strengths and challenges in ASD. Dr. Dubey's research will help developing a novel microbiome-based intervention to treat ASD and related complications.
