Definition
The purpose of the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation 2024 Nordics grant is to support scientific research involving the microbiota in human health and disease
Grants
The total amount that will be granted (VAT included and potential overhead included):
Nordics 40 000 €
Please notice that the grant must be applied to a research institution and may not be paid directly to the researcher. The grants will be awarded to the selected research institutions in Nordic-Baltic countries.
Application period
The application period for the grant 2024 starts in October 2023. Deadline to submit the application is 29th February 2024.
Candidates
Grant must be applied to a research institution in Nordic-Baltic countries. Applicant must be preferably an advanced degree (MD, PhD) holder i.e. post-doctoral investigators are encouraged to apply.

Selection
Independent Nordic Scientific Committee will review the applications and select the awardees in April 2024.
