Definition

The purpose of the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation 2025 Nordics grant is to support scientific research involving the Microbiota-Gut-Brain Axis in Health and Disease.

Grants

The total amount that will be granted (VAT included and potential overhead included): 

Nordics 40 000 €

Please notice that the grant must be applied to a research institution and may not be paid directly to the researcher. The grants will be awarded to the selected research institutions in Nordic-Baltic countries.

Application period

The application period for the grant 2025 starts the 1st of October 2024. Deadline to submit the application is 28th February 2025.

Candidates

Grant must be applied to a research institution in Nordic-Baltic countries. Applicant must be preferably an advanced degree (MD, PhD) holder i.e. post-doctoral investigators are encouraged to apply.

Selection

Independent Nordic Scientific Committee will review the applications and select the awardees in April 2025.
