Project description
Dr. Sophie LECLERCQ has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and has recently been appointed as FNRS Research Associate. She is working at the IoNS & LDRI Université Catholique de Louvain (Brussels). Her research interests are focused on the search for biological pathways underlying gut microbiome-brain interactions.
The board of experts (Prof. Françoise SMETS, Prof. Hubert LOUIS, Prof. Jeroen RAES and Prof. Bruno HAUSER) decided to award Dr. Sophie LECLERCQ for her project entitled ‘Influence of Gut Microbiota Composition and Function on Acute and Persistent Post-surgical Pain’.
